The Last Slice...

Guess what???I didn't finish up my work at home yesterday but I feel the urge to write this entry today.

The setting: Living room sofa infront of the T.V.
The cast: Little boy, little girl and big mummy.
The story of the day: The last slice of MANGO.

The story goes:
I asked my maid to cut up two mangoes from the fridge. Later, she came into the living room with the mangoes. Little girl already seated next to big mummy as she knew that it was her favourite fruit but mummy's favourite too. Mummy feed her slice by slice and gave some to little boy too. However, being a good little boy, he didn't need too many of the mangoes and gave everything to little girl and big mummy. So, it ended up with the last slice.Big mummy said she wanted it but little girl started crying, yelling that she wanted it too! Big mummy pretended to sulk and said that little girl didn't love her if she ate the last slice! Little girl can't be bothered and ate the whole piece although somewhat reluctant as if she knew that she was guilty of something!
Big mummy gave a long face and started to act cold towards the little girl. Little girl will look at big mummy but then continued playing with little boy. After about 10-15 minutes, little boy came to big mummy and said:
"Mama, jangan marah Farahlah. Dia kan small lagi. Nak marah, marah abanglah, abangkan dah 6 years old. Farah baru 3 years old. Nanti Farah 4 yrs old, barulah Mama marah."
That dialogue of his made me laughed and smiled at the same time. But big mummy still pretended to be angry until little girl wanted to say sorry. So, as a big brother to the little one, he asked the little girl to say sorry to big mummy.
The little girl came to big mummy and said "Sorry, Mama!" and she kissed big mummy's hand and hugged big mummy.
Big mummy was so touched but big mummy's intention was just to play a fool and see the reactions of the little children.
What did big mummy gain at the end of the play???
The little children love her as much as she loves them!!! But big mummy still can't forget what the little boy said to defend his little sister. He...He...He...
